Latest improvements and new features
A reliability-and-polish release driven directly by user feedback. Switching timeframes now keeps your dates on screen: flip from hourly to daily and the chart shows the same window you were reading instead of re-zooming — and if the window is too narrow for the new interval, it widens just enough to stay readable. “Same pane as…” now works for every oscillator — RSI, MACD, ADX, Stochastic, OBV, ATR, BB %B, BB Width and the volatility indicators all join an existing pane correctly, multi-line indicators keep all their lines on one shared scale, and the Pane picker now shows one entry per pane listing everything in it (“Same pane as MFI(14) + OBV + RSI(14)”) instead of a separate option for each indicator. Layout loading got a deep fix pass: loading a saved layout repeatedly no longer duplicates moving averages, multi-chart layouts with shared panes now restore every indicator into the right pane on every chart, re-adding an identical MA updates it in place instead of stacking a copy, and cross-device sync no longer rebuilds your panes when nothing actually changed. In Extended Chart View the date-range selector now docks in the top bar, so you can change the lookback without scrolling past your panes. Drawing tools got a full polish round: text blocks are freely resizable — drag any corner and that edge follows your cursor while the text re-wraps live to the new width, the size sticks after a reload, and the box simply stops at a minimum size instead of flipping direction; horizontal lines keep their price label hidden until you hover or select them, so the value box never sits on top of your candles; in split-screen, selecting a drawing and then clicking the other chart now clears the edit handles properly; the callout editor is readable in both themes; and light mode is now first-class — the drawing legend, settings panel, and toolbar are fully legible on a white background, new text defaults to a readable dark ink in light mode, and black is a color choice throughout. And in the watchlist, hovering a row no longer slides your symbols out of view — a small delete icon simply fades in at the row’s edge.
The deepest chart-customization release yet. Indicator settings now expose per-line styling: Bollinger Bands get individual color, width, and line-style controls for the upper, middle, and lower bands plus the band fill color and opacity; Keltner Channels, Donchian Channels, Chandelier Exit (separate long/short stops), and Pivot Points get the same treatment; and every line indicator — moving averages included — now has Line Width and Line Style (solid, dotted, dashed) settings, so a dashed SMA(10) next to a thick solid EMA(200) reads at a glance. Parabolic SAR was redrawn: small dots now plot at the true SAR value with an adjustable dot size, instead of oversized markers that squeezed the candlesticks. You can now place multiple indicators in one pane — add any oscillator with “Same pane as…” to overlay, say, OBV on your A/D pane, each scaled to the full pane height. Moving averages now go anywhere: the Add Moving Average dialog offers the price chart, the volume pane, or any indicator pane — an MA added to an indicator pane is computed over that indicator's own values (an EMA(27) tracking your MACD line), gets its own legend entry with a live value, and its own one-click settings. Pivot Points can now label every level (P, R1–R3, S1–S3) right on the price axis, and Accumulation/Distribution gained an “Overlay on Price” option to ride behind the candles on its own scale. And for multi-pane traders: the new Extended Chart View (Chart Settings) lets the chart grow taller as you add indicator panes — scroll down to your lower panes while candles keep readable proportions, instead of everything being squeezed into one screen. While it's on, scrolling moves the page and Ctrl+scroll (⌘ on Mac) or a trackpad pinch zooms the chart — and the setting follows your account across devices. A same-day feedback round tightened it all up: custom indicator colors now persist through refresh for every oscillator; saving a layout under an existing name now updates that layout in place instead of duplicating it, and layouts also remember each chart's zoom range — a 5-day hourly next to a 6-month daily comes back exactly as saved; split-screen charts now clone your full indicator setup faithfully (shared panes, custom styling, and indicator-MAs included) with no duplicates; the legend expand/collapse arrow now works for every indicator type, script-generated indicators included; Extended Chart View gained tablet-friendly scrolling — swipe vertically to move the page, horizontally to pan the chart — plus a wider scrollbar; horizontal & vertical lines joined the Text & Annotations menu; and every color picker now includes black, with black and white swatches outlined so they're visible on any theme.
The backtesting engine was rebuilt to fill orders the way a real broker does. Trailing stops, stop losses, and take profits now execute inside the bar at the exact level — a 6% trailing stop realizes a ~6% loss instead of overshooting to 9–10% by waiting for the candle close — with gap-aware fills at the open when price jumps past your level, and your live trailing-stop level drawn right on the chart. Entries fill at the next bar's open, the way a signal you see at the close can actually be traded. Strategies can now sell short (“short when RSI crosses above 70, cover below 40”) with fully mirrored trailing stops, and breakout or pullback entries fill at your exact price level mid-bar (“buy the break above the 20-day high”). The stats got honest too: returns now compound trade-over-trade, max drawdown comes from the real equity curve, a position still open at the end shows its unrealized P/L separately, and the Trade Log tags every exit — STOP, TP, or OPEN — including in the CSV export. The Best Timeframe comparison now shows the exact test period behind every row and ranks timeframes on annualized, risk-adjusted quality instead of raw returns from unequal windows. And a major reliability fix for watchlists: a connection hiccup while the app loads can no longer reset your saved lists — watchlists are now protected by a cloud-load verification guard with automatic background retry, so your lists are always safe.
