What the AI Chat Can Do

The AI Chat is not a generic chatbot. It has full context of your current chart — the symbol, timeframe, indicators, and price action — and can take actions directly on the chart surface.

Natural Language Questions

The AI Chat understands trading terminology and has real-time context of your chart. You can ask questions in plain English and get actionable answers.

Example Questions You Can Ask

• "What does the MACD say about TSLA right now?" — The AI reads the current MACD values and crossover state and gives you a plain-English interpretation.
• "Is AAPL near any support levels?" — It analyzes recent price action and identifies nearby support/resistance zones.
• "Should I be concerned about this RSI divergence?" — It explains what the divergence means and how it has historically played out.
• "Explain the Ichimoku Cloud setup on this chart." — Get a breakdown of cloud position, Tenkan/Kijun crosses, and what the current configuration signals.
• "What's the best strategy for this market environment?" — The AI suggests approaches based on current volatility, trend strength, and market conditions.
• "Give me a sentiment analysis for BTC." — Combines available data points to gauge market sentiment for the current symbol.

Support & Resistance Auto-Drawing

One of the most powerful capabilities of the AI Chat is its ability to identify key support and resistance levels and draw them directly on your chart.

How It Works

• Ask for levels. Type "Show me support and resistance for [symbol]" or simply "Draw S/R levels."
• AI identifies key zones. The AI analyzes historical price pivots, volume clusters, and technical levels to determine the most significant support and resistance prices.
• Confirm the draw. The AI presents the identified levels and asks if you'd like them drawn. Click yes, and colored horizontal lines appear on your chart at each level.
• Edit or remove. The drawn lines are standard drawing objects — you can move, restyle, or delete them like any other drawing.

The screenshot analysis feature lets you capture your current chart view and send it to the AI for visual pattern recognition — with a single click.

What It Detects

• Chart patterns (head and shoulders, double tops/bottoms, triangles, wedges, flags)
• Trend direction and strength from the visual price structure
• Key level identification from the visible price range
• Candlestick pattern formations at important levels
• Indicator alignment and divergences visible on the chart

This is especially useful when you can "see" a pattern forming but want a second opinion, or when you want a quick summary of a chart's overall technical picture.

External Chart Upload

Not all charts live inside ChartingLens. If you encounter an interesting chart on social media, in a research report, or from another platform, you can upload the image and get the same AI analysis.
